Yes, I’m just waiting for the N800 version of OS2008 to be released. It should be just a matter of dropping a bunch of patches, due to the improvements/updates of gtk and gstreamer in OS2008. Hopefully some of the gtk bugs will go away as a result.

mp3 playback works for me, but I haven’t had time to look into your problem in detail. It’s on my list… BTW, the output in your first comment is all normal, it’s the message in your second comment that is pertinent. Did you alter the audio sink in preferences? It should not be altered from the default value. I should remove the other options, really.

Good job! But it won’t play my mp3 songs. An error window pops up, containing a line “[10:08:45] autoaudiosink”. When I launch it from a terminal, the screen output is the following. How do I fix this? Thanks!
