Fedora doesn't let you install the plugin from within firefox since firefox is installed under /usr/ which is read-only for non-root users. Using yum to install the plugin has the advantage of checking for updates to the plugin whenever you do a 'yum update'.

Install this rpm http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-8.rpm (using rpm -Uhv). This adds the livna repo to your yum repo config. Then you should be able to install gspca using the method described in the post.</description>
