@Robert
Fedora doesn't let you install the plugin from within firefox since firefox is installed under /usr/ which is read-only for non-root users. Using yum to install the plugin has the advantage of checking for updates to the plugin whenever you do a 'yum update'.
(Sorry, I must have forgotten to reply to this initially.)

@franker
Install this rpm http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-8.rpm (using rpm -Uhv). This adds the livna repo to your yum repo config. Then you should be able to install gspca using the method described in the post.

@Dimitri

Thanks for you kind words.

Life has kind of interrupted my projects at the moment. I hope to get back this at some stage (next couple of months?).

The modified source is all in the download (it's Python). Take a look in /usr/share/exaile/ after you've installed the deb.
If you want separate explicit patches then let me know.

Hey, Tim

Just wondered, do you still work on exaile maemo port? Quite impressive work you've done, would like to see newer exaile versions on meamo.

Also, I didn't find source code of patches, you've applied for your port. Did I overlook them?

Hah, ok, that didn't work. What I was trying to say was put them in a

combo.

I recommend putting your code fragments in a

. Makes it a lot easier to style your code differently to the rest of the content on your site.

Syntax highlighting is a bit more difficult, but there are a bunch of Wordpress plugins out there that can help you.

The GStreamer volume control supports 0-10.0, but everything above 1.0 is *amplifying* the original signal.

1.0 is the 0dB point.

@Sean
It is python, and the source is all in the .deb package.
Hopefully I will get onto that volume bug soon.
